So im doing a marketing project for school on golf courses and... :]?
If you don't play and have no knowledge of the game how do you market the concept to the organization which knows the parameters by which it engages golf courses ? This is an impossible situation for conveying information to you because the factors are many starting with " How much pull do you have with the PGA ?" Then you divulge the location, the population demographic, the accessibility to the site, the amenities, locker facilities, lodging for players, practice facilities, eateries in close proximity and how much the club is willing to hand over to the PGA coffers. Where will the tournament fit into the rota and will it be profitable ?
