About New Math, Bo Burnham?

I have a question about one of the lines in Bo Burnham's New Math song. My question is the first line of the song that says, 'What's a pirate minus the ship, just a creative homeless guy (I get that part) and an anteater plus a large hungry mutant ant, what an ironic way to die.' Explain that to me please. It's not funny, just the only parts I get are : creative homeless guy, if 10% of men are gay part, if they're under thirteen just do em in your head, and the tree full of asian .
