What should I do, i really messed up with this girl.?

Alright i been talking to this girl i really like for 10 months. She works at this nightclub. haven't really seens her outside of it. Most of my friends sayed give up on her. but i felt there was some thing there. One of the bar girls i know said, everbody sees me as the obessed one. So i'm blah all man, Beacuse i always talked to the other bar girls about her. she said that trish said i'm not her type beacuse i come off trying too hard. Well realize before i when i like some thing or someone i talk about them alot. Which i stoped but i guess i frogot to do that there. and i found out she's dating someone. I still really like her and all. I'm thinking i should just relax back off a good amount. and just show her friendship u can say. and i was trying hard beacuse i didn't wanna mess this up. I'm thinking of just waiting and talking to other girls and myabe some thing maybe happen. I also drew a pictue for her, beaucse of her birthday coming up. Should i even bother giving it to her? What do u guys and girls think i should do?
