What is a proper place for a duck to sleep?

Okay, look, we have this medium sized garden, i thought that's perfect but we have 2 dogs, one of em rly wants to eat her, all this time, our duck's been sleeping in a cage in my sister's room but now she can't stand the smell. I was about to sleep in my room when I placed it in the cage. I live in the Philippines, okay it's hot, I can't sleep in hot places absolutely not, so I turn on the aircon, I know that ducks need lotsa warmth so I let him sleep beside me but i also have to take into account that they crap alot as in a lot and i know that. I gave it a try, gave it up to chance and chance crapped on my bed. There must be a certain way like something I can build for him to both see me while I'm sleeping, feel warm, and is spacious. The reason why he needs to see me is because (for those who don't know much about ducks) ducks imprint to those they stay with. She imprinted well on my sister and I. The moment you hide yourself from an imprinted duck, the ducks gonna keep crying and crying and crying. If its dark and you go into a room with your duck and you suddenly switch the lights off, the duck will not see you and will keep ******* crying. i am really sleepy right now, and I need some goddamn help.
